EMPLOYMENT opportunities in private security
Our qualifications for employment include the following, at a minimum:
- Must be a US citizen or an alien lawfully authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must meet the minimum requirements of Nevada State PILB licensing for security guard employment.
- Must be at least 18 years of age (21 for some positions).
- Must be able to effectively speak, read, and write English.
- Must have an honorable discharge from the military (if served).
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work.
- Must have reliable means of communication (i.e., a cell phone or home phone).
- Must keep their mustache neatly groomed and clean-shaven, with the exception of a neatly trimmed mustache or beard, unless the client expressly instructs them otherwise. No extreme hairstyles.
- Must furnish black slacks or trousers, black socks and plain-toed black shoes or boots in good condition to be worn with the uniform. Black BDU’s are allowed on certain posts.
- Must be able to work various shifts as needed, including weekends and holidays, if employed full-time.
